I have been known to import several kilos of muesli into China (from HK), more times than I’d care to admit. It’s like the American child-free equivalent of Mainland mothers bringing in a hundred cans of milk powder across the border. In Beijing, muesli costs, easily, triple or more HK prices (at cheap-arse PrizeMart).
We don’t, Lauren…we don’t. 😉
I give in to the lure of cheese – no matter how pasteurised, how hard – as long as it has a semblance of being ‘real’ instead of Kraft processed – I don’t even look at the price, I just buy it!
